Mich hat es genervt. Ständig musste ich Windows booten, nur, um meine Harmony 555 zu konfigurieren. Logitech selber bietet keine Möglichkeit an, das Ganze auch über Linux zu machen. Hier also eine kleine Anleitung, wie es doch geht:
1) get requirements
1) get requirements
$ sudo aptitude install libusb-dev
download the software from this site
2) unpack and install
$ tar -xvjf harmony-0.12.tar.bz2
$ cd harmony-0.12.tar.bz2
$ make
$ sudo make install
3) Configure Remote
Surf this site, enter your Logitech login and configure your remote.
4) Update your remote
When finished, click “Update Remote”, you will be asked for downloading “Connectivity.EZHex”, download and run
$ sudo harmony -tConnectivity.EZHex
while your browser stays open!
When the connectivity test is finished successfully, the page will allow you to download “Update.EZHex”. Download and run
$ sudo harmony -CUpdate.EZHex
and you are done
